REGISTRATION AND TUITION
Nia white belt trainings with Holly Curtis include:
- ACE & AFAA Continuing Education Credits.
- Materials for Nia's unique, self-directed pre-training
course.
- Nia Technique Intensive Manual.
- Daily Nia classes.
- 46 + hours of training.
The cost of the weeklong white belt intensive is $1599. For
intensives taking place in New Mexico we must also add a gross
receipts tax of 7.875%, which is an additional $126. A $500
deposit is required to secure your reservation in the training.
There are a limited number of registrations for each training,
so secure your spot early. In addition, you will receive your
pre-training materials once you have registered and paid your
deposit. These include the Global Unity Routine on DVD, as
well as reading and journalling suggestions.
The balance of $1099 is due 30 days prior to the start of the
training. Fees may be paid by check or credit card, although
checks are preferred.. If you choose to become an active Nia
teacher, you are also required to pay an annual licensing
fee to Nia Technique Inc. of $520 (may be paid monthly at
$50/mo). For more information regarding the licensing fee,

Intensive schedules are subject to change. Please verify training dates before registering or planning travel.

CANCELLATION AND TRANSFER POLICY
All cancellations and transfers must be received by phone
and in writing. If you cancel any time up to 30 days prior
to the Intensive starting date, you will receive your refund
less a cancellation penalty charge of $250.00. If you are
approved to transfer into another Intensive at another date,
you will be charged a $125.00 transfer fee. ANY CANCELLATION
received after your full payment, or less than 30 days prior
to your starting date, will result in a cancellation penalty
charge of $500.00. No refunds will be issued until all of
The Nia Technique pre-training materials have been returned
to NE&T. There will be a $100.00 charge for any materials
not returned. If for any reason NE&T is required to cancel
an intensive, your payment will be refunded to you in full
within thirty days of the scheduled intensive date.
TEACHER'S TERMS OF AGREEMENT
Because all individuals who complete the Nia White Belt Training are eligible to be Certified Nia Teachers, all participants in the training are asked to sign the Certified Nia Teacher's Terms of Agreement, with the understanding that the agreement applies only to those who go on to teach Nia classes. In order to legally teach Nia, an individual must:
- Pay an annual Licensing fee of $520 (May be paid monthly
at $50/mo.).
- Maintain current CPR training and certification.
- Display the Nia name, logo, 800 number and web site on all materials promoting Nia classes.
- Use the Nia name and logo only in promotion of authorized Nia classes and workshops.
NIA TECHNIQUE TEACHER'S LICENSE FEE
Nia Technique Teacher's License Fee is an annual fee paid
by Certified Nia Teachers to Nia Technique, Inc. for support,
permission to teach Nia and use the Nia name and logo, and
continuing education materials. The fee for US residents is
$520 per year. The annual licensing fee may be paid monthly
at $50/mo. License to teach Nia includes:
- Permission to use the Nia Technique body of work, including the techniques and principles, choreography, and routines for the purpose of offering Nia classes, workshops, etc.
- Permission to use the respected Nia name and logo for promotion of Nia classes and oneself as a Certified Nia Teacher.
- Four (4) continuing education routines, including DVD's,
8BC sheets and music on CD.
- Quarterly Nia newsletters and educational handouts.
- Discounts on merchandise and merchandise at wholesale prices for resale to your students.
- Personal and professional support via the teacher's forum, your trainer, and the Nia office staff.
- Access to publicity, business, and marketing support and materials.
- Use of Nia's 800 phone number and web site on promotional materials.
- Class and teacher listing on the Nia headquarters web site.
- Professional Referrals via Nia's 800 number and web site.
- International exposure and recognition as a Nia professional.
- Access to workshop and presentation materials.
